Insight Studio Tour | Diablo Canyon Power Plant August 2026

Join the us for an exclusive Insight Studio tour of Diablo Canyon Power Plant on Friday, August 21. This behind-the-scenes look at California's largest single source of power includes a visit to the marina to learn about the plant's once-through cooling system, then into the control room simulator for a live demonstration, and then through the protected area to view the turbines up close. 

This tour also includes with an operations overview, a discussion with plant executives, and a stop at the spent fuel storage facility. A working-lunch briefing will include discussion on Diablo Canyon's transmission infrastructure, exploring its capacity and its critical role in powering the California grid. 

This facility is an engineering marvel, and our tour is an opportunity to learn more from inside and ask your questions about the largest producer of clean energy in California.
