With their mission of using applied science and technology to make the world a safer place, the lab applies cutting-edge research to achieve breakthroughs in energy and environmental security, nuclear deterrence, counterterrorism and nonproliferation, defense and intelligence. 

This out of the area Insight Studio Trip offers local leaders an unprecedented opportunity to explore the United States’ globally significant research facility to approach concepts of energy independence, industrial innovation, advanced engineering, and more.

DETAILS: This event is an extensive, full day event leaving SLO by bus at 6 AM and returning at 8 PM. Breakfast, lunch, and transportation will be provided. Due to federal security requirements at the lab, US Citizenship is required.
