Justin and Gina Hellman met in Chicago during their training. After years of frozen winters together, they were fortunate to settle in sunny San Luis Obispo, where they are raising their sons Ethan and Nathan and their dog Ella. They are proud to be part of the SLO community and to have established their family business Aesthetic Eye Care.

Dr. Gina Hellman is a family eye doctor with extensive experience in optometric care. Her expertise centers on the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease, fitting contact lenses, and providing comprehensive eye exams. She is a graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago and has dedicated herself to providing superior eye care to her clients in the San Luis Obispo area.

Dr. Justin Hellman is one of only 2 fellowship-trained oculoplastic surgeons on the Central Coast. Dr. Gina Hellman focuses on the eyes themselves, and Dr. Justin Hellman focuses on the eyelids and everything around the eyes. He commonly performs both cosmetic and functional eyelid lifts, eye bag removal, endoscopic brow lifts, skin cancer reconstructions, and removal of irritating lesions around the eyes.
