The Public Health Department is a division within the Health Agency and is responsible for protecting and improving the health of all San Luis Obispo County residents. The mission of the Public Health Department is to promote, preserve and protect the health of all San Luis Obispo County residents through disease surveillance, health education, direct services, and health policy development.
