About

I moved to San Luis Obispo in 1974. When I learned about the dangers and the lifetime of the radioactive waste produced by nuclear power I became involved in the local environmental scene. It was 1976, my home was the office for Prop 15, safe nuclear power. It did not pass. A group of us created People Generating Energy was a co-founder of the Abalone Alliance, was arrested in 1978 protest to building , publisher of local paper, Information Press, Director of Earth Day Alliance where I have coordinated an annual Earth Day since 1999. My campaign is about protecting and preserving our open space, saving our Downtown and responsibly planning for the future of San Luis Obispo.
