The District Attorney Economic Crime Unit was created in 1989 as the non-sufficient funds (NSF) check restitution and prosecution unit. This unit serves as the primary investigative unit for all non-sufficient fund checks passed in our county. The unit also serves as the small claims court advisory and advises on consumer issues.
