The roots of the company go back to when Pat Phelan founded Pat Phelan Construction in Arroyo Grande, CA.

When Pat Phelan retired in 2016, his son Greg established SGE, bringing on board his father’s experienced construction team, taking care of the loyal customer following and building a new client base among his extensive agricultural relationships.

SGE has quickly grown to become a preferred provider of construction services on the Central Coast of California and beyond.

We continue to expand our company and services while maintaining the spirit of the family business culture.
