SLOCOG/Rideshare is a multidisciplinary work group positioned as the region’s one-stop-shop for transportation information. SLOCOG/Rideshare’s primary role is to reduce the reliance upon Single Occupancy Vehicles (SOV) within the region (which covers the entire County of SLO and commuter inter-county travels to/from adjacent counties). Rideshare’s Back ‘N’ Forth Club offers a large variety of free services to employers that want to encourage employees to utilize alternative transportation. Other programs include: Know How to Go, Safe Routes to School, and 511.
