Meet our Dentists

Dr. Ian Leopold joined SLO Smiles in 2010, continuing a family tradition in dentistry. A San Luis Obispo native, he earned his biology degree from Cal Poly and graduated with honors from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. Dr. Leopold specializes in general dentistry with a focus on surgical procedures, having completed advanced training at the California Implant Institute. He is also the sole Novadontics Smile provider in San Luis Obispo, Monterey, and Santa Barbara counties. In his free time, Dr. Leopold enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, cooking, and playing tennis.

Dr. Craig Main earned his Biology degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and his DDS from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. In 2003, he returned to the Central Coast to join SLO Smiles. Dr. Main is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art care, with extensive continuing education in orthodontics, endodontics, and occlusion. He is a certified Invisalign provider and a member of the California Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the American Association of Endodontists. Dr. Main values advanced technology and is proud to work alongside esteemed colleagues in a cutting-edge facility.

Dr. Meredith Morgan is a New Hampshire native who earned her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from UC Davis and graduated at the top of her class from Roseman University, College of Dental Medicine. Since 2016, she has specialized in advanced restorative dentistry, focusing on patient-centered care. Dr. Morgan collaborates closely with her patients to create customized treatment plans and ensures they feel comfortable and informed throughout their dental experience. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, exploring the Central Coast and tending to their native plant garden.
