The Surfing for Hope Foundation is a group of surfers and medical people helping people challenged by cancer. We have a yearly surf contest and cancer research fair which raises money for free cancer resource centers throughout our area. We also have a youth program for children whose families are going through cancer. Our Pure Stoke Youth Program gives these children a break from cancer by providing surf lessons and a free day at the beach with activities and such. This program runs from March to October.
